The PHVA is the most popular carburetor for entry-level tuning. It fits many models and vehicle types such as mopeds (requires the use of a rubber flange) or 50cc supermotos. If your bike does not have an automatic choke, you can supplement the 17.5 carburetor with a PHVA cable choke adapter<\/a> or opt for a manual lever choke<\/a>.<\/p>\n Note<\/strong>: The throttle cable elbow is equipped with an external thread and can only be used with cables that have a crimped adjusting nut on the carburetor side.<\/p>\n The main jet is size 80 and the pilot jet is size 38. Normally, there is no need to change these as the carburetor runs very smoothly ex works.
