As of now, they are getting into the market for 50cc bikes by introducing the\u00a0<strong>Stage6 Cylinder Kit Big Racing 88cc<\/strong>\u00a0for\u00a0<strong>Derbi Euro 3 \/ Euro 4<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Design of big racing cylinder for 50cc motorcylces<\/h3>\n<p>The cylinder was developed in close cooperation with the MXS Racing experts; by benefitting from their considerable experience of 50cc bikes and drawing from their own extensive technical know-how, Stage6 was able to design a thoroughly convincing new tuning cylinder.<\/p>\n<p>The cylinder features a rather basic and inconspicuous exterior, but we all know that appearances can be deceptive. We&#8217;re talking genuine &#8220;Big Bore&#8221; here \u2013 cylinder layout is not based on a modified standard model that was milled open to create a bigger bore, but was designed as a Big Bore right from the start, with matching transfer ports and a bridged exhaust port big enough to support the excess performance.<\/p>\n<h3>Advantages of the Stage6 BigRacing cylinder<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Easy installation<\/b>: Installation is particularly straightforward, as no milling of the engine block is necessary. The squish gap is preset to the optimum value for the respective engine type.<\/li>\n<li><b>High performance<\/b>: On the P4 test bench, a standard setup (24 mm carburettor, original ignition, racing exhaust) measured <b>23 hp<\/b> and <b>13 Nm<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li><b>Robust and reliable<\/b>: The cylinder timing (190\u00b0 &#8211; 125\u00b0), the large cooling volume and the high-quality <b>Vertex piston<\/b> ensure high reliability \u2013 provided that the setup and settings are right.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Use of Stage6 BigRacing cylinder Derbi E3 \/ E4<\/h3>\n<p>Displacement is 88cc (50mm piston \/ 45mm stroke \/ 90mm conrod) and is accordingly not street-legal (in many countries). You&#8217;ll have to use a <strong>long-stroke crankshaft<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The exterior is a replica of the original cylinder with a 49cc stamp; don&#8217;t worry, this is definitely an 88cc cylinder!<\/p>\n<p>Notes:<br \/>&#8211; you&#8217;ll need long cylinder bolts (M7x120mm) to mount this kit.<br \/>&#8211; depending on year of manufacture, you might have to make room for the connecting rod (milling).<\/p>\n<p><em>Not street-legal (depending on country).<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Contents Stage6 BigRacing 88<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>88cc cylinder, aluminium, 50mm bore, 45mm stroke for 90mm connecting rod, with 5 transfer ports and 32mm bridged exhaust port<\/li>\n<li>1-ring Vertex piston, d. 50mm<\/li>\n<li>high compression cylinder head, monobloc, aluminium<\/li>\n<li>gasket set (base and head gaskets)\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: Models with Derbi Euro 4 engine use a slightly smaller temperature sensor (thread: M12 x 1.5) than the Euro 3 models (M14 x 1.5).
