Design Big Racing cylinder for 50cc motorcycles<\/h3>\n

The cylinder was developed in close cooperation with the professionals from MXS Racing. On the one hand, it was possible to benefit from their experience in the field of manual transmission mopeds and, on the other hand, to use their own technical know-how, which enabled the Stage6 engineers to develop a thoroughly successful and innovative tuning cylinder.<\/p>\n

Visually, the BigRacing keeps a low profile, but appearances can be deceiving. This is a true big bore<\/strong> aluminum cylinder \u2013 not just a bored-out standard version. It was designed from the ground up as a genuine big bore kit, featuring matched transfer ports and a large exhaust port that effectively supports the increased performance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

  • Simple installation<\/strong>: Installation is particularly straightforward as no milling work is required on the engine block. Squish clearance is optimized for the respective engine type.<\/li>\n
  • High performance<\/strong>: 23 hp<\/strong> and 13 Nm<\/strong> were measured on the P4 test bench with a standard setup (24 mm carburetor, original ignition, racing exhaust).<\/li>\n
  • Robust and reliable<\/strong>: The cylinder’s port timings (190\u00b0 – 125\u00b0), the large cooling volume and the high-quality Vertex piston<\/strong> ensure high reliability – provided that the setup and settings are right.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Use Stage6 BigRacing cylinder<\/h3>\n

    Displacement is 77cc (50mm piston), i.e. not street legal. You should use a reinforced crankshaft with standard stroke.<\/p>\n

    From the outside, the cylinder is a replica of the original cylinder with a stamped 49cc mark; but don’t worry, it is clearly a 77cc cylinder.<\/p>\n

    Note: <\/em>we recommend using “long” cylinder head nuts to be able to tighten the head properly.<\/p>\n
