The Stage6 development team has developed an innovative cylinder designed for simplicity, performance and reliability.<\/p>\n In terms of looks, the BigRacing is rather inconspicuous, but appearances are deceptive. The cylinder is an original “Big Bore” cylinder, i.e. it is not based on a standard cylinder that has simply been opened up on, but has been designed as a genuine Big Bore kit with matching transfer ports and a large exhaust that supports the extra power of the cylinder.<\/p>\n The BigRacing cylinders’ strong points are simple installation<\/strong>, top performance <\/strong>and high reliability<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Simple installation<\/strong>: Installation is extremely easy and, above all, no milling work needs to be carried out on the engine block. The squish clearance is preset to a value optimized for the respective engine type.<\/p>\n Top performance<\/strong>: In terms of performance, the BigRacing impresses across the board: on our P4 test bench, we measured a full 27 hp<\/strong> and 13.6 Nm<\/strong> with the 88cc Big Racing; a standard setup was used (24mm carburetor, original ignition, racing exhaust, etc.)<\/p>\n High reliability<\/strong>: The cylinder’s timing is relatively low, the cooling volume is quite large and the piston is of extremely high quality (Vertex) – all factors that make the cylinder very reliable and robust, provided that the setup and settings are correct.<\/p>\n To get the most out of the 86 – 88 AM6 Alu Stage6 kit and achieve the highest performance, we recommend combining it with at least the following components:<\/p>\n You can use the cylinder kit in combination with a crankshaft with 44mm stroke \/ 85mm connecting rod<\/a>, which gives you a displacement of 86cc.<\/p>\n To achieve a displacement of 88cc, it must be used in combination with a crankshaft with 45mm stroke \/ 90mm connecting rod<\/a>, together with the 5 mm base gasket<\/strong> included in the kit.<\/p>\n
