POM is characterized by high strength and rigidity and has a particularly low friction coefficient.<\/p>\n<p>The black dummies are marked with white Stage6 logo as well as bearing code and bearing size. The dummies are sold in pairs.<\/p>\n<h3>Function and use of dummy bearings<\/h3>\n<p>Plastic dummy bearings are used instead of real bearings, e.g. to measure port timings and to machine the engine accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>The precision fit bearing dummy is simply inserted into the crankcase by hand.
