These HQ brake shoes were developed in collaboration with top endurance riders (e.g. Stage6 Cup) and are accordingly built for extreme racing conditions and durability.
High-quality materials provide excellent stopping power, with long grooves allowing for great self-cleaning. One of the strong points of these shoes is that the pressure remains nearly constant over the racing distance. When overheated, most other brake shoes tend to expand, which may lead to brake drag or even brake seizure.
