The Stage6 R/T oversize CVT system - indispensable on racing and mid-race engines: Oversized CVT systems that extend the entire shifting range.

The Stage6-R/T variator has newly calculated roller tracks optimized for R/T engines for 19x15.5mm weights - the result is a very homogeneous speed curve that affects the entire acceleration phase. The flank angles are precision-machined on a CNC lathe and the riser disk has a reinforced contact pressure area. The sintered liner ensures optimum lubrication properties.

In contrast to conventional rear pulleys made of steel, the oversize CVT pulley consists of forged aluminum halves that are bolted together with guide spherical caps. The halves are turned on CNC machines before assembly, which increases the precision of the component and, above all, the flank angle. Particular emphasis is placed on surface roughness, as this has a significant influence on the switching and downshift behavior of the converter.
Other advantages of the modular system include reduced heat generation, significantly lower weight and the ability to replace individual components in the event of wear.

After machining, all CNC parts are sealed with a ceramic conversion depth coating in order to maintain the surface finish (roughness) for longer. Blasting as with pure steel riser pulleys is not necessary, or only when the coating shows clear signs of wear.
