Cylinder Stage6 Sport Pro 70cc MK2, Peugeot horizontal LC (12mm piston pin). The first generation of the Stage6 Sport Pro 70cc aluminum cylinder was already a go-to among tuners — the MK2 takes it even further.
For 50cc scooters with Peugeot horizontal LC engine such as Peugeot Speedfight / Ludix.
Design Stage6 MK2 cylinder
The MK2 has been completely redesigned: instead of 5, there are now 6 transfer ports for improved cylinder filling. The oval exhaust port has also been revised. Visually, the cylinder adopts the angular look of the R/T series. The one-piece head features integrated coolant ducts for better heat dissipation. The piston is an R/T replica with domed crown and a 0.8 mm piston ring, built for performance and thermal durability.
Performance 70cc cylinder MK2 from Stage6
The MK2 delivers 2 to 3 hp more than the MK1 — up to 15 hp out of the box with the right setup. Maximum output and solid reliability make this kit a new benchmark in scooter tuning.
To make optimum use of the power of this cylinder, we recommend the use of a reinforced crankshaft, a minimum 19mm carburetor and a sports/racing exhaust system.
Assembly tips for Stage6 cylinders
We recommend cleaning the engine before reassembly, checking the condition of all components and using a new spark plug and small end bearing. Don’t forget to readjust your carburetor settings!
Squish clearance should be between 0.75 and 0.85. The cylinder should be run in for approx. 300 km with a 1:33 mixture to improve robustness and life expectancy.
Caution:
– Do not use OEM or OE quality exhauts with this cylinder.
– The temperature sensor including thread must not be longer than 16 mm, otherwise it may bump into the cylinder head.
