Stage6 Tuningkit big racing 88ccm am6
Stage6 Tuning Kit cylinder + crankshaft Big Racing 88cc stroke 45mm Minarelli AM6. The tuning packs we have carefully assembled for you guarantee maximum performance without you having to worry about the right combination of the individual components.
The tuning kit includes:
- 88cc cylinder d.50mm / stroke 45mm, aluminium, with 5 transfer ports and bridged exhaust
- 1-ring piston d.50mm Vertex
- aluminum cylinder head, one-piece, high compression
- gasket set (base and head gaskets)
- HPC crankshaft Stage6 w. 45mm stroke, 90mm connecting rod and 12x17x15mm small end bearing
- SKF C3 bearing polymer cage Stage6 + oil seals
- cylinder base spacer 5mm
Stage6 Big racing Cylinder 88cc
The BigRacing cylinder from Stage6 is intended for everyday use, but can also be used for tuning projects. The port timings are relatively low, the exhaust is generously sized, which makes for easy tuning and smooth performance over the entire rpm range; it also provides a good basis for performance-enhancing tuning measures.
Stage6 HPC crankshaft
The crankshaft is a Stage6 HPC crankshaft, with 45 mm stroke. Thanks to the high-quality materials and extremely precise balancing, the crankshaft can withstand very high loads of up to 16,000 rpm.
The connecting rod measures 90mm, this means it is 5mm longer than the original AM6 (85mm) to increase engine power and torque.
The set comes with a bearing kit and orange FKM oil seals, known for their excellent heat resistance and mechanical durability.
Performance Stage6 88 Big Racing
In a suitable setup — PWK 28 mm carburetor (minimum), intake kit, high-end performance exhaust, reinforced clutch, etc. — our dyno measured 27.23 hp and 14.01 Nm torque.
Note: The outer mold is based on a replica of the original cylinder and bears the “49cc” marking. Rest assured, it is indeed 86cc / 88cc. Depending on your engine year, minor machining of the connecting rod passage may be required (see instructions).
