Torque springs in different strengths
Black-coated torque springs from Stage6, available in various stiffness levels. Maintaining correct belt tension is crucial for proper transmission behavior. If the spring is too soft, the belt can slip. If it’s too stiff, the belt may barely move at all. In both cases, the engine’s performance can’t be fully utilized — so don’t underestimate the role of the torque spring in your tuning setup.
The spring must always match your engine setup. Stiffer doesn’t automatically mean better – a spring that’s too hard can actually prevent the engine from reaching max RPM.
Made from carbon-silicon spring steel, heat-treated and finished with a black coating for durability and low wear.
