Optimal setup for Stage6 Tuningkit Derbi E3/E4
To get the most out of the Derbi 88 cast iron package after 2006 and thus use the maximum power, we recommend a 26 mm carburetor type PWK; a reed valve like the Stage6 Viton reed valve, a reinforced clutch and an internal rotor ignition like the MVT Digital Direct.
Additional info 88 StreetRace Derbi after 2006:
- Since the outer shape is based on a replica of the original cylinder, it is marked “49cm3”. However, it is actually an 88cc cylinder.
- When mounting an 88cc cylinder with a 90mm connecting rod, it is essential to use longer studs (M7x120mm).
- The assembly of the cylinder kit is very simple and requires no milling of the crankcase.
- Running in: minimum of 300 km with an oil mixture of 3% for guaranteed robustness and durability.
- You can easily get 20 hp without compromising on reliability.
