Strong points of Stage6 Streetrace 70cc cast iron cylinder
The Streetrace is a lower-priced version of the popular Stage6 Sport Pro aluminium cylinder. Transfer port layout is basically identical to the more powerful 70cc Sport Pro kit, it was slightly modified to meet the thermal requirements of a cast iron cylinder. Renowned Italian manufacturer Vertex Pistons is making the pistons for this top quality kit.
The performance curve is similar to that of the Sport Pro; it offers better starts but less peak power (0.5 hp less). The peak power is around 10,000 rpm, with 8-11 hp being realistic.
To get the most out of this kit, we suggest pairing it with a bigger carburetor and a sport or even race exhaust. We recommend the Stage6 Pro Replica, but the cylinder also works really well with low-profile exhaust systems like the Tecnigas Silent Pro (TG0307383).

As always, we recommend cleaning the engine before installing a new cylinder and getting a new spark plug and a new small end bearing. Carburetor settings may need to be readjusted.
