The Stage6 brake shoes for drum brakes are available in 2 versions: Sport pads in plain black and Racing pads in sporty orange. Also available for Peugeot 103 and Puch Maxi.

The Stage6 Racing brake shoes are high-end brake shoes that ensure excellent stopping power by using high-quality materials.

Long grooves that run over the entire surface ensure good self-cleaning. The great advantage of these brake shoes is that the pressure remains constant over throughout the entire race even if it is only not much higher than other pads.

The high-quality sport brake shoes from Stage6 can be used as HQ replacement for the OEM brake shoes. They deliver great braking performance and high durability. The pads are very quiet and wear down slow.

Stage6 and their racing department Stage6 R/T offer high-quality fixed brake discs and floating brake discs.

All brake discs are made entirely of high-quality martensitic steel used for its superior toughness and hardness, which guarantees an extended service life. The heat treatment of the braking area is the same as used on superbikes so when competing in circuit races pilots can brake consistently and powerfully throughout the entire race.

The fixed / rigid brake discs offer excellent heat dissipation and thus reduced “warping” of the disc. The discs offer maximum reliability and maximum stopping power – high-end brake discs that are suitable for racing use, but can also be used for everyday riding.

The floating brake discs from Stage6 R/T do not only look great, but have various advantages. With floating brake discs, braking force is distributed about 30% more evenly than with standard rotors, resulting in better brake response and more even wear of the brake pads. The brake disc is equipped with orange anodized bearing rings made of 7075 T6 aluminum, whose strength is comparable to steel, but weigh much less.

Braking power, pressure point and brake dosing is redefined thanks to a 14.5mm large piston diameter. Lever width adjustment for individual adjustment (wheel on the lever itself and small screw on the brake cylinder). The integrated reservoir is a little slanted; this has the advantage that the brake master cylinder can be lowered or removed without having to empty the reservoir. In addition, a screw nipple allows easy bleeding from the outside. The lever is equipped with a special low-friction ball bearing. This improves brake feel – solid and smooth, zero sponginess, with excellent brake modulation. It also increases overall braking performance, resulting in shorter brake distances and improved vehicle control.

Optimal when combined with Stage6 R/T’s 2- and 4- piston calipers and a braided steel line.

Note: Since this is an item exclusively designed for racing, the brake pumps do not have any connections for the brake lights.

The Stage6 RACING brake pads are the ideal choice for those who like it a bit faster, but do not want to sacrifice safety and hard braking.
These sintered metal brake pads provide excellent braking performance and immediate response (bite), allowing for fast and hard braking, even under sub-optimal conditions (wet or muddy track etc.). The powerful and versatile brake pads provide noticeably improved braking performance right from the start.

The Stage6 SPORT pads were developed primarily for city riding and everyday use and guarantee a long service life and optimum braking performance. The powerful and versatile brake pads provide noticeably improved braking performance right from the start, the brake pads do not need to be warmed up to deliver optimum performance.

All brake pads are provided with a KBA number and can be used legally on public roads.

Stage6 R/T Racing 4-piston caliper MK2 – the new and improved MK2 version of the popular Stage6 R/T Racing caliper. Available in Orange, Black and Hard Anodized (extra scratch resistant).

The MK2 calipers are also available as a kit with the HQ Racing brake pads from Stage6 R/T.

The main focus when working on the Stage6 R/T 4-piston MK2 caliper was on increasing stiffness and optimizing the free movement of the pistons. In addition, the ease of use has been significantly improved by the use of an additional bleed screw. In addition, the new design has a 20% larger friction surface on the brake pads.

To provide additional support for the brake pistons, a specially developed return spring is used to return the brake pistons to their resting position immediately after braking. The result is maximum wheel clearance when the brake lever is in its home position.
